Our students perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the workplace including, but not limited to:


  • Enter data of purchase orders
  • Process accounts payable
  • Process expense reports
  • Allocate phone bill across departments
  • Check incoming invoices

Human Resources

  • Prepare materials for recruiting fairs
  • File HR information
  • Process interview and new hire paperwork
  • Enter data for commissions; investigate payroll issues
  • Reconcile HR data across several databases
  • Distribute and track evaluation forms
  • Manage PeopleSoft data; file and process new hires and terminations
  • Process new employee security passes and documents
  • Track employees' compliance with security policies

Office Services

  • Deliver mail and copy room support (including use of large-scale copy machines and cutting & binding equipment)
  • Assist main reception with backup phone duty 
  • Maintain schedule for appointment rooms; prepare rooms for meetings
  • Manage supplies inventory
  • Organizing library; sort and distribute practice supply books
  • Prepare documentation for shipping


  • File trade confirms and trading tickets
  • Scan credit documents and ensure completeness of credit files; prepare batches for off-site distribution
  • Check transactions in off-site employee accounts: open statements, ID documents, code, scan and batch documents for shipment
  • Ensure Patriot Act compliance (ensure completeness of account opening documentation); archive regulatory documents
  • Process new employee Securities Registration and existing employee continuing education

Information Technology

  • Allocate, reallocate and inventory equipment
  • Process orders for new equipment
  • Install new programs and helpdesk triage
  • Monitor security related events and activities; report on key security events

Marketing & Business Development

  • Prepare presentation materials and flyers
  • Create social media content and update accounts
  • Assist with client events (name tags, marketing folders)
  • Research market trends and produce analytical reports
